Cancer Child

These sensitive, easily offended children will always find something to cry about. Whatever you do, they are not easy to please. They have a very expressive and emotional face. They are deeply attached to their mothers and cannot bear to be away from the people they love. With their dreamy nature they will tell you imaginary things constantly in order to get attention. They need affection and tenderness throughout their lives. Arguments at home affect them a great deal. They find boarding school wearing. When they are small you may often have to take them into your bed at night; they are frightened of rainy nights and thunderstorms. As small children they love books of fairy tales; as they grow, girls come to love silver jewellery, the smell of flowers and moss, and lace nightdresses. They walk about with a doll in their hands at all times. They adore white and bright colours, and there is always a small mirror in their bag. Boys prefer games in the manner of fables, and books and toys that develop what they are good at; they take a particular interest in anything that recalls the sea.
